Ripe, dense and velvety soft, with rich berry and spicy notes of cinnamon and clove. A firm structure, sinewy tannins and a long finish. Serve with bifteck au poivre, boeuf Bourguignon, richly flavoured casseroles, grilled beef, roast lamb, venison, duck, and quail.
The Manor House
Home of our original wine master, these varietal wines take their name from the beautiful Cape Dutch home that Nederburg’s founder built for him and his wife in 1800. Sadly, just two years before the home was complete, his wife passed away, leaving him alone in his pride. Beautifully proportioned, the Manor House mirrors the fine balance of the range. Only available at the Nederburg winery.
